In recognition of the pressure hospitals and clinics had faced, CardioScan Asia will soon be launching a free patient Holter fitting centre at its headquarters in Singapore CBD.
The new service added to remote Holter fitting services that clinics had turned to during Covid, according to CardioScan Asia General Manager Mahathir Jamah.
“Patient care has clearly been the focus of hospitals and clinics during this time, despite the challenges of Covid,” he said.
“We worked to adapt our service, and while our remote service did allow clinics to post Holter hook up kits to cardiac patients at home, not all patients were able or suitable for this type of testing. Many older and vulnerable patients were too afraid to even approach clinics during lock down.
“The result has been a surge in patient cases as we’ve begun opening up again, and our new free patient fitting centre recognises this pressure for clinics.”
The Free Patient Fitting Centre will commence mid October. A convenient 5 minute walk from Raffles Place MRT in the Singapore CBD, patients must be referred by clinics, where patients will then be fitted with the myPatch Holter provided by CardioScan. The data will then be sent to the referring clinic via their cloud software BeatBox once the cardiac analysis report is complete.
This service can be used in conjunction with their in-clinic fittings while enabling clinics to continue servicing patients despite devices being out on deployment.
To register your interest in this service, you can get in touch with CardioScan directly or visit the new fitting centre at 40A Circular Road, Singapore 049396 from mid October.
